The history of St. John Armenian Church spans more than 75 years and reflects the heritage, culture and faith of Armenians and the rich and complicated history. The building of St. John Armenian Church represents years of preparation and research as a team of architects and consultants traveled to Armenia to study the classic architecture. The dedication and consecration of “the church with the gold dome” was performed November 20, 1966. Expansion and improvements continued until today with the most recent renovation in 2022. The campus boasts a grand ballroom, a smaller event Saint Vartan room, the Mardigian library, gymnasium, classrooms, the AGBU charter school, veteran’s hall and the Manoogian Museum. The beautifully appointed grand ballroom completely renovated in September 2022 with expansive palladium windows, coffered elongated hexagon ceiling with remote lighting options and a professional stage are the perfect appointments to inspire and design your unique event. The grand ballroom offers ideal ambiance with sophistication and impeccable details.

THE GRAND BALLROOM can accommodate up to 550 for a sit-down dinner or 500 sit-down dinner and dancing. The recently renovated room is traditional elegance with a contemporary vibe. Every detail has been thoughtfully reimagined with a marriage of modern and traditional elements. A coffered hexagon ceiling with remote colored lighting adds ambiance and flair to any function. Sleek wall sconces, stunning palladium windows and professional stage conveys an aura of modern sophistication and grandeur.
SAINT VARTAN ROOM is a smaller more private room for guests under 100, ideal for showers, luncheons, brunch, engagement, birthday or cocktail parties, baptisms, or rehearsal dinners. State of the art, gallery style lighting also makes this an excellent venue for art openings or exhibits. The neutral decor sets the backdrop to launch your creativity and style and is designed to create a sense of sophistication and intimacy.
VETERANS HALL is an alternative venue for casual celebrations and events for 200 guests or less and offers flexibility in both set up and design. Ideal for graduation or birthday parties, reunions, holiday parties or award banquets, the Veterans Hall is for those who want to customize an event with their own unique vision. A wall lined with windows floods the space with natural light and allows guest to take advantage of beautiful starry nights. The outdoor patio offers an excellent opportunity to extend a celebration outdoors in spring, summer or fall. This hall is a superb blend of casual and modern charm.
